FLAVOR OF FLAV on howard stern show

THE FLAVOR OF FLAV
Flavor Flav: The Icon The Memoir

FLAVOR FLAV TOLD IT ALL

Flavor Flav stopped by to promote his new book, ‘The Icon The Memoir,’ shouting in his trademark hype-man fashion: “Yeaaaah, G! What’s up, man?” Flavor said he’d only been passively involved with the book’s publication: “I told it all to the tape recorder and then I just gave the tape recorder, you know what I’m saying, to a writer.” A lot of the book details the addictions that got him kicked out of Public Enemy: “I really drove them to that point.”

Flavor told Howard that he picked up his crack and cocaine habits well before Public The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav: UNCENSOREDEnemy blew up: “It was a habit. But it was a small habit. My drug habit didn’t get real big until we got paid.” His struggle with addiction lasted a long time: “That stuff had your boy going crazy...I did that shit every day for six years.”

howard talks about Arnold Schwarzenegger

THE MAID IS ARNOLD’S BABY MOMMA

Early in the show, Howard referenced the new reports about Arnold The Running Man (Special Edition)Schwarzenegger’s infidelity: “The humiliation is unbelievable. I mean, what are you doing to that Maria Shriver?” Howard thought it was unconscionable to cheat on your wife with the very woman who helps care for your family: “She probably isn’t even hot. He’s just out of his mind psycho. Because it was just handy.” Howard laughed: “You know its bad when the real Arnold is even worse than the fake Arnold!”

Commando (Director's Cut)
Robin compared Arnold’s attitude with that of the recently-imprisoned IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn: “It’s female. Let me have it.” Howard told Robin he understood the draw of the “powerful shit you guys have”--but not the impulse to take it without permission. That said, Howard said he’d wait to hear Arnold’s explanation: “Arnold was always a great guy to me...a lovely guy to me.”Arnold Schwarzenegger Comedy Favorites Collection (Twins / Kindergarten Cop / Junior)

OSAMA’S DEAD--BLOW A SEAL

Howard started the show celebrating Osama bin Laden’s death: “I’m declaring this a holiday.” Howard thanked the men responsible (“All Americans can be proud of our military.”) as the job was difficult: “In a nation of rats--and Pakistan’s full of them--it’s hard to root out [just] one.” Robin hoped bin Laden’s supporters would visit his body at sea: “I would love for all of the people who care about Osama bin Laden to go to his grave.” The Warrior Elite : The Forging of Seal Class 228

Howard asked Robin if she would offer herself to the Navy SEAL whoFascinating Facts About the United States Military - Featuring the Elite Navy Seals Team Six pulled the trigger on the world’s most famous headshot, and Robin nodded--but thought the military might keep him under wraps: “If I could actually get to the ‘the guy.’” Howard offered himself as well, in case the trigger man was gay: “I would suck him off...but I don’t think they want me sucking him off. They want John Stamos.”

Robin Quivers leaving the Howard Stern Show ? robin's new TV Talk Show Next ?

Shock jock Howard Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers may not be on his Sirius-XM satellite radio show for much longer.

In an exclusive interview with Radar Online, Quivers said that she may soon leave to do her own thing. "I love to do radio and television and I've always wanted my own television show, so I've been putting out feelers for those kinds of things," she told the website.

And she apparently already has a goal in mind: to potentially replace Oprah as the queen of daytime TV. (The final episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" airs May 25.) "Let's hope," she replied when asked if she was angling to replace Winfrey.

"It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I'd be interested in," Quivers told Radar of her television plans. "I think I have some interesting things to say and I don't think anybody out there is saying

Robin Quivers Born Robin Ophelia Quivers August 8, 1952 (1952-08-08) (age 58) Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. Occupation Radio personality, author, actor Years active 1979–present Website Official Website Robin Ophelia Quivers (born August 8, 1952) is an American radio personality, most notable for being the long-running news anchor and co-host of The Howard Stern Show.[1] Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Quivers graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in nursing. In 1975, she joined the United States Air Force where she was promoted to the rank of Captain by 1978. After three years of active service, she attended the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, and entered the radio industry in 1979. Within two years, she worked as a news and consumer reporter at WIOO and WCMB in Pennsylvania before returning to Baltimore at WFBR. In 1981, Quivers was asked to become a news anchor for Howard Stern, a new morning personality hired at WWDC in Washington, D.C.. The two have been together since, working at stations WNBC and WXRK from 1982 to 2005. The Howard Stern Show has been exclusive to Sirius XM, a subscription-based satellite radio service, since 2006. Contents [hide] 1 Early life and career 2 Radio career 3 Personal life 4 Notes 5 References 6 External links [edit] Early life and careerQuivers was born in Pikesville, Maryland[2] to Louise Quivers, a homemaker and housekeeper, and Charles Quivers, Sr., a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel. Both parents had only seventh grade educations.[3] She has an older brother, Charles Quivers, Jr. In her 1995 autobiography, Quivers reveals that her father molested her when she was a pre-teen. He is now deceased, having suffered from Alzheimer's disease. In 1974, Quivers graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in nursing. Her first position was at the Maryland Shock Trauma facility of the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System. "I was a shock-trauma, intensive care kind of nurse, so I saw unpleasantness all the time", she said.[4] Knowing she could use her degree, Quivers joined the United States Air Force in July 1975, being appointed a Second Lieutenant. She entered active duty on January 11, 1976,[4] where in six months was promoted to First Lieutenant, and Captain by June 1978. She was discharged a month later, although she remained a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, with no active duty, until 1990.[4] [edit] Radio careerAfter a three-year stint in the Air Force, Quivers developed a taste for the radio industry when a telemarketing job put her in contact with radio stations. In 1979, she returned to Baltimore to attend the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland.[5] She then took a news position at WIOO in Carlisle, Pennsylvania,[6] followed by WCMB in nearby Harrisburg. She then moved back to Baltimore for a consumer reporter job at WFBR. "She tackled serious subjects, people-related issues" said Mike Golden, a station associate.[6] Quivers also read newscasts at mornings with Johnny Walker.[6] On March 2, 1981, disc jockey Howard Stern started his new morning shift at WWDC in Washington, D.C.. He wished for an on-air newscaster to riff with him in the studio.[7] It was then when station program director Denise Oliver played Quivers a tape of Stern interviewing a prostitute on the air.[7] "I had never heard anything like it", said Quivers. "I just said, where do I sign? I’ll do anything just to meet this guy!"[8] [edit] Personal lifeIn 1990, Quivers underwent breast reduction surgery.[9] Quivers currently resides in the Manhattan borough of New York City. From the mid-1990s until April 2007, her long-time boyfriend Tony was a man mysteriously referred to on the radio show as "Mr. X." On April 23, 2007, Quivers called in to the Bubba the Love Sponge Show on Howard 101, announcing their separation.[10] Her personal health and well-being also have been the subject of discussion. In June 2007, Quivers began a strict vegan diet which she says helped to increase her energy and helped her to lose 60 pounds over a six month period.[11] Quivers has made attempts at many different hobbies including race car driving. Robin claimed she would be a successful racer and even challenged radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, an experienced driver, to a future race. Quivers eventually competed in the 2007 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race '07 finishing in last place of all drivers to cross the finish line.[12] In August 2007, comedian Jim Florentine asked Quivers on the air to go on a date with him. Due to the attention this garnered, Quivers became tight-lipped about the topic. On July 28, 2008, Quivers announced on the radio show that she and Florentine had indeed ended their relationship.[13] She stated that the breakup was amicable, that Florentine was "genuine and honest," and that it was he who initiated the break-up.[14] On March 18, 2009, Dr. Drew Pinsky and Dr. Mark Young administered a narcissism test to members of the show's staff. Quivers, who scored a 34, had the highest score of anyone who had taken the test, with the average celebrity scoring 18. Dr. Young, insisting the results were very real, said "there are seven categories of narcissism, and she scored close to the maximum in every one...higher than 99% of the population
After 30 years together, Howard Stern and longtime sidekick, Robin Quivers, might be splitting up. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Quivers revealed she might be saying goodbye to the man who helped make her a household name.

"I love to do radio and television and I've always wanted my own television show, so I've been putting out feelers for those kinds of things," said Quivers, 58, told the website. "(I could) express myself in ways that I don't necessarily get to express myself on our show."

"It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I'd be interested in. I think I have some interesting things to say and I don't think anybody out there is saying them," she added.

Stern and Quivers met in Washington D.C. in 1981 and have worked together ever since
