Andrew Dice Clay Talk Celebrity Apprentice On the howard stern show

Andrew Dice Clay stopped by to discuss getting kicked off "Celebrity Apprentice" and congratulated Artie on the success of his book. Dice then claimed he appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice" for the exposure: "I know Trump. I used to do the Taj...I'm the nicest guy in the world - you know that...they call me and I've gotta drag my dick outta my girlfriend to get there...because of the huge viewership...I didn't think I'd win, but I thought I'd do real good." Dice went on: "I'm not mad about what the show is, it's about what you didn't see." Dice said he saw the set-up coming, so he grabbed Mark Burnett, the producer, by the collar and told him not to f’ him over. Dice added that when Trump said he made a career out of demeaning women, he replied, "No, I made a career out of being funny" - but his response was cut out. George didn’t think Dice belonged on the show to begin with: "He's a dynamic, singular character. He had no business being there." DICE ON JOAN RIVERS "She's like, 'This face cost $150,000.' And I'm like, 'Get your money back.'" SHULI PASSES THE DICE TEST Dice said he recently did some gigs in Canada with Shuli and messed with him the entire time. Dice laughed that he convinced Shuli to do some sure-to-bomb material, sent other comics onstage in the middle of his set, and forced him to take the stage a second time after he finished his set. Shuli said he enjoyed the experience: "I felt like it was a test he was doing." Howard thought Dice was being mean ("You humiliated him.") but Dice claimed he was just trying to make sure Shuli "got" the Dice schtick. ROLLING THE DICE Dice claimed he used to gamble big in Donald Trump's casinos ("There was one time I lost $700,000 three nights in a row.") but he hasn't gambled (or smoked) in eight years: "The minute you sit down to gamble, you're losing...you're just getting money for, really, nothing."

Donald Trump Visits Howard Stern

DONALD TRUMP ON 'CELEBRITY APPRENTICE'

Donald Trump called in to promote the latest season of 'Celebrity Apprentice,' and Howard asked if he was shocked when celebrities agreed to appear on a show that rarely makes them look good. Donald said he was "a little surprised" that some of the contestants signed on, but thought most of them had something to prove: "You see how hard they're working...to a certain extent, it's to protect their brand."
Donald added that 'Celebrity Apprentice' didn't always have a negative impact on the contestants' careers, citing season 7's runner-up, country singer Trace Adkins, as an example. After his appearance on the show, Trace scored his biggest hit: "He said, 'You know, Mr. Trump, before I met--before I did this show, I couldn't get a ticket to the Country Music Awards. And now I'm hosting them.'"

TRUMP ON JESSE JAMES

Trump said Jesse James, another past contestant on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' was "really tough and he was really smart." But he seemed strange: "I used to ask him, 'What the hell does Sandra Bullock see in you?'" Donald said Jesse lost, in part because he refused to enlist his wife's help: "He really seemed to love Sandra, but he never brought her on the show." Donald said things might've gone differently if Jesse had: "He would've won...I thought he was very protective of her. Probably--in retrospect--he was probably screwing around and didn't want to have her around."
Howard wondered how Donald managed to stay faithful--Donald had an answer ready: "You have to be in love with somebody." Donald later added: "It's always good to be busy."

RATINGS ABSOLVE ANY CRIME

Donald told the crew that--like Howard--his controversial persona actually contributed to his success: "If you get good ratings, you can be the worst human being on Earth." Donald dovetailed the statement with a much more dubious claim, attributing the success of his outsized media presence to his good looks: "I honestly believe it's because I'm a very handsome guy."

TRUMP ON HIS JEWISH SON-IN-LAW

Howard asked Donald how it felt to see Ivanka marry a Jewish guy, but Donald stonewalled him: "He's a great guy." Howard later wondered if Donald had worn a yarmulke--as tradition dictates--at the ceremony, and Donald denied it: "It's not a big deal...it is possible one slipped on my head for a while." Robin asked if a "country club guy" like Donald was happy to have a Jewish son-in-law: "You're used to banning these people." Donald laughed it off: "I'm happy with her decision."

NO 'NICE DONALD' FOR ROSIE

Despite a relatively tame appearance, Trump broke his 'nice Donald' facade when Howard mentioned Rosie O'Donnell: "She's a loser. I mean she doesn't have much talent."

Donald Trump Gives Artie Lang good wishes and talks about Artie's violent suicide !

Donald Trump is sending good wishes along to Howard Stern Show sidekick Artie Lange who is currently on hiatus from the show while he recovers from a violent suicide attempt in early January.

Trump gave the Artie Lange quote during an interview with New York Magazine in response to Lange's interview for the Magazine's '21 Questions' column in November 2009. When the Howard Stern Show second banana was asked: "What do you think of Donald Trump?" he responded: "I like him, but he owes me $42k from the last time I was at the Taj."

Donald Trump's statement on Artie Lange was a lot less flip: "I like Artie too. He's a really good comedian. I hope he's going to be okay." New York Magazine reporter Tali Yahalom said Trump ended the interview abruptly after the Artie Lange question.

The Howard Stern Show has been without Artie Lange since the comedian was ordered to take time off for health reasons in December 2009. Since news of his failed suicide attempt by stabbing in January, his future with the Howard Stern Show has remained uncertain. Both Howard Stern and Sirius XM Vice-President Tim Sabean have stated that Artie Lange's job at the Howard Stern Show will be waiting for him when and if he decides to return.

Follow the Howard Stern Examiner
Artie Lange's dark and painful secret was finally exposed by the New York Post early Thursday morning with a story in their 'Page Six' gossip column that Artie Lange attempted suicide by stabbing himself nine times.

Howard Stern waited until 7:10AM on Thursday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast to talk about the Artie Lange 'Page Six' story, and even then he spoke about it reluctantly.

"I don't even know why I don't want to read it on the air," said Howard Stern.  "Maybe I'm in some kind of denial or something."

Howard Stern couldn't read more than a line of the story revealing the suicide attempt and the method and then put the story down.  "I'm so upset about this story," said Stern.  "I'm pissed off that the story got out there."

Howard Stern And Beth Get Married !

NEW YORK, NY -- A host of stars including John Stamos, Donald Trump and Barbara Walters turned up at the Le Cirque restaraunt in New York City on Friday night for the wedding of Howard Stern and model Beth Ostrosky. Dressed in a grey suit and on the arm of a pretty brunette, Stamos turned up grinning as he headed into the ceremony. Though they split earlier this summer, former couple Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman walked in together, Access can report. But it was Howard and his bride Beth who made the biggest entrance. The couple made a very untraditional arrival - turning up together. Chauffeured in a black limo, Howard exited the vehicle first, while Beth went in a short while later. The bride wore a white gown designed by Georgina Chapman with a white shawl-like wrap to stave off the New York City cold. Other stars attending the ceremony included "Live's" Kelly Ripa, whose husband Mark Consuelos was ordained as a minister specifically to marry Howard and Beth. Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee Joel, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Artie Lang, Steve Schirippa, and Denise Rich also were spotted attending the event.
